Exodus 23:20  "Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared."

Isaiah 63:9  "In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old."

Matthew 1:20  "But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.""

Revelation 5:2  "Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?""

The above scriptures are just a few examples.  There are numerous scriptures that bare evidence of the existence of angels throughout the entire text of God's Word.  Their origins and existence are as mysterious as that of God, Himself.

While there are numerous times that angels are mentioned within the Bible, at no point is there a great importance applied to how we should relate to them.  We are not meant to pray to angels or try to communicate with them.  Angels exist in Heaven with the Lord our God and they worship Him just as we should.  Let us not dwell on their existence or purpose.

Revelation 22:8-9  "Now I, John, saw and heard these things.  And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.  Then he said to me, "See that you do not do that.  For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book.  Worship God."

Instead, focus on developing your relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  Let your energy and time be devoted to getting to know the Lord and trusting in Him for all things.  God wants you to lean on Him during the hard times, praise Him during the good times, trust in Him for your daily needs, and, most importantly, love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind.

Yes, angels exist, but your relationship of faith and love should be based upon and developed with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
